NEW Kids Fun and Fitness Club

I received an email from Jac, another twin Mum about a new Children's Fitness Club she is starting up which sounds both fabulous and positive. I love the idea. Here is what Jac says...

"With the birth of my beautiful twins many things had to take a back step. 18 mths on and I am ready for some ’mummy’ time and I can not think of a better way to spend it than finally getting this program up and running with friend and fitness trainer Jase Lydom. Both of us, in our independent fields, have been approached by many parents time and time again, about starting up a childrens program and well, with the stars aligned, here it is. With my 25 yrs teaching experience ( Specialising in P.E) and Jase’s extensive experience in the fitness industry and his knowledge on nutrition we are very excited to come together and launch our new childrens program.

To give you a little bit more info, the training sessions are designed to get kids aged between 6 and 10 years outside and having fun with fitness in a safe and supportive environment.
The sessions will involve :developing the childrens confidence,

hand/eye co-ordination,

teaching them the correct principles of a variety of exercises,

and nutritional advice that give them the tools to make informed decisions of what is good for their body and their health

….. and all the while having fun whilst learning.

Jase and I are both really passionate about this concept.

I know a lot of parents would agree with me, that it is getting harder and harder to entice the kids outside to play, when they or their friends have all the latest techno games inside their loungerooms."

Geelongs 1st Fitness Club for children aged 6–10 years is here!

Our goal is to promote fitness training outdoors through a wide variety of fun activities in a safe environment, instilling & reinforcing in the children the positive benefits of a healthy & active lifestyle.

Starting date: Monday March 7th

Training days: Mondays and Wednesdays

Times: 4.15pm – 5.30pm

Duration: 5 weeks (10 sessions)

Location: Belmont / Highton area

What to bring: Water bottle and a towel.

    Thanks for sharing the your informative post. A health club is a place which houses exercise equipment for the purpose of physical exercise, health clubs have a main workout area, which primarily consists of free weights including dumbbells, barbells and exercise machines...
